Silk Scarf Jacquard Silhouette Sericulture (Petrol-Violet)

Woven from 100% silk, with at least 50% Swiss silk in the weft, the fabric has a subtle sheen that makes the delicate patterns appear differently depending on the light. The motifs are inspired by the Swiss paper-cutting tradition: filigree silhouettes of the mulberry tree, the silkworm, and the mountain landscape. They are created directly in the fabric using the Jacquard weaving technique, not printed, but woven in.

The fabric is manufactured at BBC Jacquard in Como, one of Italy's most renowned weaving mills. The edges are then hand-rolled, a detail that is both visible and tangible.
