Want to see how silk is made? Come by for a farm tour.
Tiny, hungry, and incredibly industrious, the silkworm is a small wonder of nature. On our farm in Beinwil (Freiamt), you can experience firsthand how a delicate egg transforms into a shiny cocoon. Starting in the 2027 season, we will offer farm tours once the silkworm room and theory room are completed.
Tours are generally possible throughout the year. Those who wish to experience the silkworms live should visit between June and September. Individuals can register online via our calendar. Groups can conveniently register using the contact form.
Cost: CHF 20.– per person | Groups by prior arrangement (Minimum CHF 200.–)
